but now I really must remove the xmas stuff from the office. New cleaning service gal is wonderful at putting my stuff in piles up onto chairs so she can vacuum – what a difference that makes, a nice, tidy floor inviting me to keep going with tidiness!
Yesterday I attacked Desk 1, sorting very simply into “Book, To be Filed, and Trash.”

Good for you for attacking the sorting. I am getting ready for apartment inspections and tonight hope to start on a bunch of sorting myself.
Are the canvas bags for certain types of storage in your office or do you use them to help with sorting?

Our weekly Great Gazebo Gatherings are in rented space. My office and all my stuff is in our sweet little farmhouse with the photocopier, the secretary, the Big Guy, the Music Lady, but there’s no room for our Gatherings.
I’m responsible for five programs each week at the Gatherings. With five color-coded canvas bags, I can throw needed materials into the right ones all week long. Then on Sunday mornings I just grab the bags and distribute them to the different meeting rooms.

for our strange situation. Rather a pain in the neck every week, but that’s life.
There’s now a strategic plan to build our own Great Gazebo by 2012 that we could actually keep all our stuff in. Wouldn’t that be a trip!
