Typical story, I killed my hair with too many dye jobs, heat styling abuse and neglect. Last year it was nasty straw so I got most of the damage cut off (didn’t want to look too butch) and learned healthier ways to take care of it.

It is no wonder I never had long hair! I mistreated it terribly for a LOT of years before it finally got really bad last year.

The progress is really good despite more breakage (the rest of the damaged parts) a really jacked up “trim” by a psycho-wench stylist who cut off nearly an inch after I told her I wanted a dusting, and recently another mini chop of 2 inches to start resolving the layering left from the breakage.

It is growing!!!!!!!!!!!!

Major Goal: to terminal length (or probably waist length if it grows that far)

Next goal: shoulder length, ETA April 2006

It is a slow process but it gives you something to look forward to.
