it’s so nice when you pad your schedule with time to ‘get there’ (i speed all the time) so i’m totally one to talk, but i’m trying really hard to focus on ‘things that matter’ to me or to my family… like building relationships through sending christmas cards, remembering people’s birthdays, stopping my crazy schedule at work to ‘say hello’ to people and actually listen to their response and ‘engage’ for two minutes.

i’m realizing that life is too short,,, and i’m not going to let consumerism or the mob of life tell me that i have to be rushing all the time.
