His writing can seem profuse at times.. I actually put this book down halfway through and then continued it at a later point. It may just be that you aren’t into his style or his stories. If you can’t get into it, don’t read it. To be truthful i took little roadtrip when i was in the middle of reading On the Road. It made me want to get up and go lol.
