We had a rummage sale in August. It was definitely a first for us, but I’m not sure how fulfilling it was. We made $200 but it was a LOT of work and we still had tons of crap leftover. We did give about a third of it to charity (we should’ve given it all but I’m such a pack rat. What if we need it? What if we have another rummage some day? Ack! So it’s still taking up valuable space in our basement.) So that’s that.

I didn't get a receipt.

I mean, how does all that work anyway? Do they write down a dollar amount for your stuff or what? How $much do you have to donate to get a tax break? :)
