There is a woman’s shelter that has been advertising around campus for volunteers, and when I get back to college next week I’m going to call them and see if they need help on the weekends.

Not to be a nay sayer...
or what every you want to call it…But you might want to ask what they want the volunteer to do, before you accept any position there. I’ve known some women who were in shelters and they weren’t the most stable people I’ve ever known.
