I am not sure any chef should be in charge of the whole universe. They are a temperemental sort, for one thing.

For another, they are prone to ornamentation. Think about some of those frou-frou plating disasters in gourmet cuisine, and try to imagine it translating to body parts on an elephant or a gazelle.
