I’m totally new to hair dying (except for a total fiasco I had back in high school). I’ve been looking at Special Effects, and Manic Panic. Can anyone tell me which they think is superior and why? And if anyone uses anything else, what do you use?
I only use special effects. I only know of one person who’s properly maintained a hair color from Manic Panic. It takes a lot more time and money.

Everything you want to know about a brand of hair dye is right there in picture form :) It also has the best prices I’ve ever seen for Special Effects dye.
(also, I highly recommend Paul Mitchel for Color Treated Hair (shampoo and conditioner) It really is the best thing you can do for your color, even though it’d very pricey.
