Absolutely worth doing. Everything works, no admin headaches, no long, vulnerable periods waiting for vendor to patch their security holes. Wide variety of software. Heck, if you need to run Windows software, most of it will even run in Wine, even Windows Firefox binaries and Windows Flash plugin for Firefox binaries work fine so you can watch on-line videos that “require” Windows. I haven’t looked back and am very happy that I accomplished this goal.
