love myself
Loving myself..

I want to have more self belief and love myself more.

For years I have been negative towards myself and bought myself cheap rubbish and put myself through things because I didn’t believe I deserved better.

I want to change my way of thinking so I can respect myself as much as I would with my perfect true love, I want to love and respect myself and learn to love myself for who I am.

I hate conformity and I want to learn that being different is a good thing and not to change myself for other people.

True love starts from within and to find true love you have to learn to love yourself first. I also want to boost my confidence.

Mor

you are so right

i wish i could really love my self.

you can love yourself. take it one day at a time.
talk positive to yourself and try saying positive affirmations every day and eventually you’ll start believing them.
you’ll be okay. hang in there.
and remember that the mind is a very powerful tool.

Absolutely

Having had loving parents helps a lot, but a lots of people don’t have that, I’ve found.

I believe that every single one of use is a unique expression of the life force and so it’s my purpose to express that uniqueness as best I can.

I relish my critical thinking and alternate take on life – it’s what makes me me. The media machines that want to sell their wares want us to all want, aspire to and buy into the same story. That’s crushing for those of who don’t fit and don’t want to.

Don’t try and be different for the sake of it; just try to follow your own beliefs as best you can, but don’t be afraid of difference.

And I’d say my warning bells ring when I read you say; “so I can respect myself as much as I would with my perfect true love”

Don’t expect perfection in yourself or others. Failing to meet that kind of target is possibly what has already given you a feeling that you’re not worth it. Just aim to be the best you can and aim to encourage others to do the same. But perfection – ooops. No no.

I’m 17 and have gone through a lot of abuse and i used to be anorexic and then bulimic and am still dealing with disorders and problems.
But if i can say anything, (even though i still have trouble with this) it would be to
1)love yourself, 2)talk positive to yourself, 3)use positive coping skills, 4)realize that perfection is a false word b/c it is imaginary and inexistent, and 5)tell yourself that you’ll be okay and lookout for ppl with secondary motives.
