The great thing (well just one of them actually) about 43T is that the day starts yesterday (in Nonna-land) and carries right on until tomorrow (in SoCal-land) so celebrations can be wonderfully long.

48 hours

If you started at 12.00 am, Saturday 19 January, Wellington time, you would have 24 hours until 12.00 am, Sunday 20 January. But then you just need to switch to Nukualofa, Tonga, where it is 12.00 am Saturday 19 January, so you get another 24 hours.
