get in a better sleep routine (read all 12 entries…)

Saturday night I was asleep by 1am which is good going, I was tired because of the late night I had on Friday night.

Sunday night I was asleep just before 11:30pm which is very good, I think that’s the earliest in a while and a good time to go to sleep. I had gone up to bed about 10:30 but I listened to my iPod for a little while before settling down to sleep.

Monday night I was asleep by 11pm, I was tired after a workout and was getting up early the next morning for a workout so needed to get to sleep as early as I could and I found because I was worn out from my earlier workout I fell asleep pretty fast.

Tuesday I was asleep by 9:30. I’d been tired since about 7pm and went to listen to my iPod just after 8pm but I found myself falling asleep for a few seconds and waking up (if you know what I mean?) and that went on for about 10 minutes before I got ready for bed and was asleep by 9:30.

So this exercise routine I’m doing at the moment is helping me with my sleep routine. I just wonder what will happen when I stop working out? If I have a couple of days off will my bad routine come back?
I had managed to get to sleep between midnight and 2am without the exercise routine so hopefully the good sleeping routine will continue and get better.
