Boyfriend's mother told me — 6 months ago

that I am very creative and have a great eye.

Do I feel like she’s just saying this ‘cuz she’s a lovely, sweet lady? Mais oui.

But, am I going to accept it as the truth? Je vais essayer; I’m certainly going to try!

I know, for me, accepting compliments from my mother-in-law can sometimes be difficult (especially since they used to be back handed) but I am getting better at this too.

You know, compliments can be like pearls,

there always has to be at least a grain of truth, maybe large, maybe medium-sized, but without spoiling the beauty of the compliment, you can’t take it apart to find out. Wear them proudly!
