Along with Milkbox, it seems people born this week like to use Bloom County avatars. That’s either a cool coincidence or some kind of sympathetic cosmic synchronicity. I know Wiggum is probably missing his wife and son today on his birthday, but I think it’s cool he let them go for that 90th birthday celebration tomorrow. That shows just how great a guy he is. Here are my birthday wishes for him for the coming year:

May he continue to find the motivation he needs to get into better shape, which will help him lose those 25 pounds. May he have safe travels, hitting more of the 50 states this year, or at least a ball game at one of his wanted fields. And may he quit delaying and schedule that dental checkup in 2008.
