The wallet I had for seven years went through the wash yesterday and fell apart. There’s a lot of sentimental value in that wallet. I’ve even kept the pieces…
It was actually more of a card case than a wallet. It originally had these little cosmetic wipes in it, but when those were gone I was so attatched to the case I started putting my ID and cards in it. It had a blue silk brocade covering and a little mirror on the inside. It was part of payment for giving a presentation on anime and manga. I didn’t get any money, but I got a little bag full of things from Japan. I still use the sewing kit…
Anyway, now I need to find a new wallet. Conditions: small enough to fit in my pocket, but big enough to hold bills. Have a unique look. No leather, vinyl etc. Opens easily but will stay closed when I want it to stay closed. No velcro (because it’s loud and annoying) and no zippers (because they always break. I don’t care if they’re freakin’ SWISS zippers; THEY. WILL. BREAK.)
