I tend to not accept compliments well. I try to just say thank you but I usually say something like it was really cheap or this shirt is really old. So when I say something like that it pretty much just tells that person that they have crappy taste. I need to just say thanks.

I should have this on my list too, because I do the same thing. I think we start doing it as a kid’s. I can remember my brothers saying things like… you sure are pretty! Smiling, I would say “thank you”! Then they say, “pretty ugly”!! It’s amazing how childhood shape’s us, and what we carry around with us as adults.
