I’ve been reading Nat Geo’s Magazine since last December, a somewhat childish idea came to my mind: “I want to work for National Geographic”, I said to myself. After reading some more issues I decided that if I could not work at Pixar Animation Studios I would work at National Geographic. Why? I like Nat Geo channel, I like photography and I like writing. I’m not so sure about how well I would perform but the master key to achieving one’s dream the same name: “Hard Work”... unless you are spilling with talent of course. Yeah, I admit I am somewhat lazy, somewhat stupid, somewhat slow. But this one thing I know: I love going to extremes with things that motivate me.
After thinking it for a while I decided to Google this idea, eventually I came up 43 Things. Where apparently people make a list of things they would like to do in order to… ” write down your goals, get inspired by others, and share your own progress.”
That doesn’t seem such a bad idea when you optimistically think about it… until I read one of the comments about working on Nat Geo:

If you know me, as …. well, as one person does, you’ll understand why I found this both funny and irritating at the same time.
You see, contacts, don’t generate spontaneously on some random website looking for people who want to work, if you want something, no matter how badly… I’ve lost the count of how many times I’ve heard it, you have to WORK for it. The second sentence isn’t even a sentence, but oh well, I’m not here to criticize on grammar.
“I Love Nature and i want to share my visions to the entire world.” ... so does the – what? – 90% of the world’s population? FYI Nat Geo doesn’t only worry about nature and the environment, if you didn’t know there are thousands of social conflicts happening all over the world, there is history, there is research in fields such as archeology and paleontology, there is medicine and things that aren’t sprouting to my mind right now.
“Today I work in Mexico doing social and commercial photography.” ... Ladies and gentlemen, this what happens when your country’s government doesn’t invest on education!

So… was this a poem your 5th grader brother wrote for his English Class or was this what you wrote in your last curriculum? Still, I can’t deny you’re intelligent as a dolphin… if only you were as intelligent as humans…
“i enjoy light and sounds as i enjoy life…” ... You see, the world isn’t full of light and happiness, at least not for the 54 million people who live in extreme poverty in your country. There’s nothing wrong with being happy but if you truly enjoyed life you’d know “wherever there is light there is shadow” and “there is no peace without war”. If you truly enjoyed life you’d love darkness as much as you love light, both of them have a good side, you’d enjoy silence as much as you love sound or at least, you’d stand in the middle ground accepting you don’t how to love life truly as people would like to.
Yes, you may call me an idiot, and you may wonder why I waste my time writing this, and you may think I’m a loser for attacking weaker people. Of course, if you are smart enough, you’ll realize I’m feeling rather weak right now.
