I joined REI (great deal – lifetime membership for just 20 bucks!) and got a cool neon green helmet with racing stripes! My bike is all fixed up and ready to go. Now if the weather would just get a little more normal I’d be ready for the next step – tooling around the neighborhood. I haven’t ever ridden more than 10 miles round trip so CLEARLY I’ve got some work to do.

Any tips from anyone who has done the bike/bus thing would be muc appreciated!
