I'm continuing to work on this and to make progress 10 months ago

I admitted in a blog that I was having a hard time keeping my spirits up recently (also in an email to family) and I was overwhelmed by the almost instantaneous response. Friends and family alike called throughout the day yesterday, which was wonderful! I’m really grateful to all my friends and my family.

Courage Defined

To me that’s true courage, so many think it’s courageous to always go it alone but sometimes it takes more courage to ask for help. Cheers for you, hope things start improving with the support of friends and family as well your own strength.

You know it is getting easier to ask for help, but…it still isn’t easy for me. For some reason, I tend to go it alone. My mother raised me to be independent, which is a good thing, but I may carry it to extremes at times. At least I’m trying to work on that! :-)

Yeap, asking for help is difficult, isn’t it strange? We are social beings, we survived as a species because of that, and here we are, struggling with it all.
