embrace change

backwards  — 5 months ago

I graduated high school almost 5 years ago, which is a crazy thought in itself. But anyway I tried the college thing right off the bat like most new grads and again like most grads made the wrong choice and had to hit the re-set button. From there I went to community college for 2 years, still working the whole time. For the last 6 months or so I have been in limbo just working. So while everyone else I know has graduated and is looking for a job I’m quitting mine and going back to school. I have never done the dorm thing or any of the other aspects of “college life”. So at 23 will be 24 I’m going for it. It should be interesting. I’m trying to welcome the change and challenges.

Hi there

Congrats on deciding to go back! That is fantastic. I am doing the same thing. I have just finished working full time to go back to uni and finish my psych degree, and I am 29. I am really excited and feel refreshed from the break I had – which lasted a year. This is just the start of many wonderful things to come!

that’s awesome! good luck to you!
