~ Julie ~ is gone....
From an email that is going around the office today.
I am in SNOW HELL AND I CAN NOT GET OUT!!! Nor will I be dragging my ass out of bed either!!!
I just got off a conference call with Wisconsin Emergency Management and the National Weather Service.
The National Weather Service (NWS) is forecasting that Kenosha County is in line for some of the heaviest snowfall. Rusty Kapela of NWS stated that we may see thunder snow which means 2”-3” per hour and strong wind gusts of 25 – 35 mph. If we get the thunder snow, it looks like we may get up to 20” of snow in parts of Kenosha County. With strong wind gusts we may see near blizzard conditions in open, exposed areas.
We should see snow beginning to accumulate after 8 PM tonight but the bulk of the accumulating snow will be between 9 PM – 10 am tomorrow/Wednesday morning.
