learn calculus

...as i can’t finish this year of college without at least Passing this class. I’m bad at all maths, and this is no exception.

BUT the thing about maths is that you just have to do examples, over & over. That’s it. Put in the time and you’ll pass. Maybe i should’ve put down “Learn to do some work” as a goal instead…

Comments:

No one is bad at mathematics. You can’t be bad at mathematics because it is logically defined with rules. All you have to do is follow rules, so anyone can do it. You can only be bad at things like art, singing, writing. Those things take talent and are not defined by rules. Some people have talent for mathematics which helps, but it is not a prerequisite.

The problem with mathematics is they teach you “how” you do things but not “why” you do things. Thats why so many people like liked it, including me at one time. After you understand the “why”, the “how” falls in place and mathematics flows like a language. You still should do things over and over but you wouldn’t have to repeat it as many times.

JD has gotten 2 cheers on this entry.
