go to a gay club
less sketchy 4 years ago

I want to go to one of these. When I go out, I like to dance my butt off to good music and not worry about sketchy boys’ advances towards me… here, I needn’t not worry about that (I hope!)

I need a gay friend to take me though, or else I would feel mucho out of place by myself. Or do straight people tend to go alone/without gay friends to these clubs?

Don't feel weird!

I go by myself the majority of the time and it’s great. If anything you meet more people that way. Gay clubs are so friendly! I prefer them 100% more than straight clubs. When I go out it’s not to ‘meet a man’, especially not some sweaty guy that’s trying to grind me! You seem like a nice, fun person- they WILL love you!

thanks for the comment, I appreciate it! I was actually talking to a (straight) friend about it yesterday and she’s interested in joining me. so hopefully we’ll go sometime soon!

Hey, I’m not sure where the world you are, (Kinda new to this thingy) but I’m pretty sure you will enjoy the experience. I’m gay and in my opinion straights are more than welcome. (Provided they have an open mind, a friendly attitude and a sense of adventure.) Gay clubs = Less ego and more fun. Just GO! :-)
