study kabbalah
Pursuing happiness 4 years ago

Where do you start when even the beginning looks so insurmountable? Before there was a Jesus or sacred scripture or jews there was kabbalah… these are the people that spoke directly with their god, wrestled angels, and prophesied the future…. Maybe this is the beginning for me… maybe it’s the journey I’ve always wanted to undertake… maybe the end is the beginning, which is Kabbalah….

Anyway, anything that profeses to help you become more god-like can’t be all bad….

I have found a group… I am going to lessons… so far, I’ve learned nothing but have been reminded of much… has anyone pursued it and been dissapointed?

Pursuing a greater understanding of life

Well written!
I haven’t heard of people who pursueded Kabbalah & were dissapointed.
Au contraire my friend, once you’re on the path of personal developement through Kabbalah you’re heading towards a big change.
Bits & peices of crucial information come together to make the great puzzle of life. And guess what, you’re in it! and you have a role too, a very important one.
I salute you my friend, as we both walk the path of change. Be persistent & brave, as most people are afraid of change.

I wish you all the best on your new quest.

yip, i was dissapointed

I went to a 9 week course for kabbalah in London, but for some reason that was just not what I was looking for. A lot of attention is given to reading the Zohar, reciting the Ana becoach and scanning the so called 72 names of G-d. But if I asked for the reason W A Y and H O W doing all this is improving live, the closest to an answer I could come is that it is beyond the physical realm of understanding, and that doing it (without understanding anything about it other than a blind believe that it mystically work) just work…

Now I am using the web as my tutor, and find that there are genuine reasons why it mystically work to do all the above and exactly where it comes from. And all these reasons and origins of the kabbalistic concepts are what is SO SO SO AMAIZING. There are very cryptic codes in the 1st 5 books of the Bible based on kabbalah. and if explored, I can not imagine how any person can doubt that Kabbalah is a amaizing study of the blue print of every thing in (and out of) live, including happiness.

Look at these web pages and tell me if you think it takes the disappointment out of Kabbalah:

the book “sefer yetzirah” is also a great book with the most astonishing ideas.

ricknell has gotten 2 cheers on this entry.
