I bought him phonics flashcards for Christmas, and he’s always excited to practice with them. He’s doing well, and can sound out a lot of words on his own. I think he’ll do just fine and will be at the same reading level as the other kids when he starts kindergarten this year.

He’s lately been really into volcanoes and plate tectonics, so he’s added another word (volcano) to his instant-recognition list. :)
