I lived in Denver briefly after many years in California and I loved it. There are many people there that are from California and also love it. If you can live without the ocean, then I’d recommend it.
I found people to be more friendly and active than in Californa. There’s a lot of youth and energy there. Depending on where in California you live and where in Denver you move to, you’ll find housing prices different. I found them much cheaper.

I moved to Denver 2 months ago and moved back to CA. For me I couldn’t adapt to the altitude. Some people adapt, I never did. Doctors wanted to put me on inhalers, etc, and I’m very healthy other than the altitute. Also, buy a humidifier if you move there as Denver is a very dry climate. If anyone has any lung problems, Denver is probably not a good place to live. Beautiful and clean city, but it snows alot, even through mid May. Not for me!

I’m in denver from florida and i can say it cost the same if not less then florida which is good. florida is a lot cheaper then cali of course. my insurance is cheaper, gas.. rent is about the same. the climate is great, if its not cold the weather is perfect, but remember its a dry cold so its not that bad compared to other places. if you move wait till atleast march or the summer.
