do 10 pull ups (read all 3 entries…)

I’m kind of embarrassed to post, given that I can do at most 4 (FOUR!) unassisted pull-ups. And only the first three have any decent form. I started off with (ahem) 2, and after a few weeks of effort, well, here I am.

Just wanted to share. I’m not out of shape by any means, just not particularly strong. I thought that my starting point might be encouraging to someone else stuck in the low, low, low single digits :)

May as well keep trying.

In 52 weeks, you’ll be 52 weeks older, anyway. If you can add 2 pullups every 3 weeks, you’ll be doing more than 30 at the end of a year, and you’ll still meet your goal in only about 2 months!

My goal is just to improve ;) The number of pull-ups isn’t really the most important part, but 10 in a row would really be a milestone for me!
