At least this is on the list. Once I have quit caffeine, have the rose garden in and the house organized I can get on to more ethereal pursuits.

I realize greek is the subject

I’m not a student of greek,

however I’ve written a piece which is not strictly any given language, in the tradition perhaps of the Bandersnatch, although epic in tonality:

ZEND TRULL KENDOR

zed hops
furulla
draen kale
von zust
shon cul vrand
fron zot mann
drell zend
cron aumper
vrull zend ift urr
rool wend finn
rond uon rae
frist zend zool
shrae kend fritz
zend trull kendor

[I can provide my pronunciation if its of any interest]

I have poetry in english at Machina Poetika

I made seventeen translations in English with seperate meanings, and still think its evokative.

I’d be honored if anyone were interested in interpreting it themselves, or if it did anything to encourage translation in general.

I’m not much of a linguist apart from phonetics within my own poems, however its seemed like an excellent pursuit for genuine academics. The mother of a friend from school does music translation at Stanford. I’ve lost touch with them unfortunately.

a friend

has actually suggested I read on the radio, although I don’t know how to go about it.

It would be better if I collected other poems of this style.
