It is exciting to finally realize that though your circumstances may be challenging, one way to get rid of the blues is to help someone else and get less self absorbed. This is my “Ah Ha!” revisited. Having worked in the service/not for profit sector for 7 years before going to corporate, it is sweet to remember the reasons for starting there in the first place. Now raising a family, owning a Christian coaching and training business I am trying to figure out a way to serve. Due to illness, and sour real estate investments our family now is struggling. But there must be a way to help others and not focus on the overdue bills, mortgage and family issues etc. I sing on the praise team, I am involved in a few ministries and head a project, volunteer with United Way but do to illness these things continue to get interrupted. I want to impact more directly and consistently. Suggestions?
