Adar Gone fishin'.
Met with my advisor tonight....
and I was a little worried because her email had sounded a little odd. She’s a hard person to read sometimes.
Well, she liked it. She liked it a LOT. I have a bit to do, but that’s ok, we’re almost there, and (WHOOPIE!!!!!!!!!!) SHE LIKED IT A LOT!!!!!!!!
Besides being my thesis advisor, she’s also my academic advisor for the last 3 years, and my mentor, and sometimes my Jewish mother as well. And she’s one of the most distinguished scholars on the faculty. I used to be terrified of her. It just makes me so happy that she’s proud of what I’ve done.
