bench press 200 lbs. (read all 2 entries…)
After a long hiatus... 22 months ago

I haven’t done any barbell bench pressing for the last couple months. I had to establish a calculated max today by repping with near max weight. I ended up repping 205 eight times for a calculated max of 255!(yeah right)

Anyway, whether the estimated 1RM is correct or not, I tore 200 up with ease. Awesome.

hi there good job on the bench the key to a stronger bench press with the bar bell is to be strong with the dumb bells..dumb bell press is harder but it makes you stronger…lets say you could bench press 200lbs with the bar bell but you wont be able to dumb bell press 200lbs but if you could dumb bell press 200lbs with the dumb bells then you will be able to bench press 300lbs with the bar bell…dumb bells are allot harder but they make you stronger…load with creatine monohydrate powder and your bench will go up…
