I got a compliment yesterday and I said thank you. The only part I need to improve on is that I went on to say “I have really been trying but still feel behind a lot.” I am glad that I said thank you but I am going to work on just leaving it at that.
Its good that you “hear” yourself throwing in the little argument after the thank you. I think you’ll keep catching yourself & eventually turn it around. Good job. I do this too sometimes. :)
