Emelle wonders why magic 8 ball says to have an affair with my professor

list three things every day that made me happy (read all 740 entries…)

1. Mother-daughter book club (M & I are in it) was great. It helped that it was a book I loved (Life as We Knew It)
But it was also one of the best discussions we’ve ever had. We discussed the book nearly the entire time, for over two hours!

2. Warm day! It got up to about 40 today. Felt like spring! So much like spring in fact that I felt compelled to buy some tulips when I went grocery shopping. Tomorrow it’s supposed to snow, but the tulips will still be on the table.

3. Finished the socks I was knitting, the first pair I’ve ever knitted for myself. They fit great, and I love them!

Comments:

I love those colours!

Don’t socks knit by your own hand feel so much more wonderful!

BTW, I am constantly humbled by the speed at which you knock off your knitting projects.

Thanks!

Yes, they do feel so nice on my feet!

About my speed . . . you know I don’t have a job, right? I probably spend way too much time knitting.

I used to get lots of knitting

done at work. No little ones getting in the way. But ever since I traded in my coffee breaks and most of my lunch hour for leaving early enough to pick up my son from school, my knitting time has suffered. A worthy trade I suppose.

But Emelle, I must correct you. There is no such thing as too much time knitting!

gorgeous!

They are so pretty! You should think about sock wars. (I have humbly signed up and look forward to it) I love your colors!

Missa loves her little boy

I like your socks!

I love our mini-spring that we are having. I wore my raincoat today! Our driveway was a sheet of ice, though. It must have melted/frozen a few times over the night.

sierrak is getting psyched up to run the C25K!

YOur socks are lovely!

Way to go! And your stripes match so well. Excellent job!
