Just bought a SONY a700 digital SLR

I have owned several digital cameras and have recently added a high resoultion 12mp SONY a700 & CZ 18-80mm zoom lens. I would like to use this pro level camera to highest standards. I would also like to shoot Infrared (IR) images.
