I did, but even more amazing … and this is not something you can capture in pictures … we stayed all day at Volcanoes National Park, and at night, once it got dark, you could see the red hot lava flowing into the ocean … but that’s not the amazing part: around midnight, they park almost completily deserted and quiet, we drove up to the rimon that moonless night, we retracted the roof of the convertible and … Wow!!! that was amazing! you could see the entire Milky Way! You could see the billions and billions of stars that are out there.
I was prepared, unlike my companions, because I had seen that before, canoe camping out in the Okefenokee swamp.
