I didn’t actually write a song, but it is pertaining to music. I’ve never sung by myself in front of people. I was extremely nervous. But I definitly feel like God sang through me and I wanted to thank Him for it. And even though it was sad not having cas there he works everything out for good and through this I got over a fear.
It’s a little sad that Cassie wasn’t there to see you lead worship for the first time. But then again, if she was there, there wouldn’t have been a reason for you to do it. (What a conundrum, huh?)
I also know that John was really upset he had to miss it because of his town meeting. But back to my point- you did an amazing job and I was proud of you. Yay, Emma!!!
I know that you did a great job because God has gifted you with the talent needed and the Holy Spirit has annointed you. With God’s gifting and the Holy Spirit’s annointing the only way to fail is through pride. I know that you are not prideful so I am confident that you led our students into God’s presence and will continue to lead the masses as long as God allows you to. You are a gem in the rough Emma. I feel so blessed to have been able to work with you over the last 2 or 3 years and I can’t wait to see what is up ahead in the future!
