My first of many steps toward this goal

I ran a half marathon this weekend in 1:47:xx, was thrilled because I felt like I HAD to run it in 1:50 or less to even consider training for a marathon with a BQ in mind (my qualifying standard for my age/sex is 3:45:59 or less).
I know I have a LONG, LONG way to go….but this was a promising first step.
I am going to maintain present mileage, and start on the Pfitz 55/18 training plan in about another two months for my October marathon.
