I have heard this from many people, that they work hard on original pieces and in return get (forgive me) junk that’s just slapped together.

I like the cards, but I don’t see myself collecting them, per se. I have bought a few, only to be disappointed that it was an ink jet print out, with pencil tracing over it—so lame!

I’ve heard you can just reject a trade, pointing out to people how long you worked on a piece, and if you like a piece, then make a trade. You can also (supposedly) work a trade where you get more than one, if you feel it’s fair.

For me, I’m right now selling them on Etsy and Ebay (I know, I”m not supposed to sell them) but there’s a market.

You might be able to re-trade the ones you don’t like, or just re-work them somehow to make them your own.

There are online groups that do trades, but I haven’t done this yet (seeing as how I’m selling mine :P) where you can see the card first and then work a trade.

Don’t get discouraged! Dig out your cards and do some surfing on the web—you’ll find what’s right for you.

I figure, if I sell mine, and then see some that I like and buy them, there’s not much difference…that’s sort of a trade.

For now, I’m not hoarding cards (mine or anyone elses) so, it’s all good.
