At work 20 months ago

I am always rooting around in the indoor bins and recycling most of what I find. I find it frustrating that I work in a school where some people lack the simple awareness to recycle even paper. Schools are about the future, educating children to better their lives!!! What good is that if the planet is so messed up that the future holds little or no potential for them??? Rant, rant…

I agree - isn't it weird?

My daughter’s after school program was throwing tons of paper away each day. It is so weird to me. I ended up bringing them a big box for paper then I hauled it out myself each week. I don’t want to turn into that crazy recyling woman so I just try to be friendly and offer solutions.

I know what you mean

I try not to be too over the top about stuff as people can’t cope and just think that you are fanatical. Then that switches them off. I just think recycling is so easy, but I keep quiet and just do what I can. Good for you anyway, it all makes a difference :)
