Sarah-Mae sorting out my wardrobe; sorting out my life.
Caleb
joie de vivre is mellow
There were two spies who viewed the Promised Land, Caleb, and Joshua. Caleb means “dog” and Joshua means “God saves”. You could think of it this way: there’s two parts of you who can see the possibilities of something new. One part of yourself is a higher self, a spiritual side that is open to possibilities. And the other part is pure animal enthusiasm – it doesn’t think, it doesn’t analyze – it is boundless energy, just ready to embark on the next adventure. Only your ego mind – the other spies – are caught up in fear and the what ifs.
Caleb is a good name for a boy with that boundless energy – someone who is ready to run headlong into whatever life has to offer. You know that popular goal, “to live rather than just exist”? That’s a Caleb goal.
