celebrate my 3rd year here by finding out why people who have been on 43T a long time continue to use it. (read all 2 entries…)
Today is my third 43T anniversary! 21 months ago

My husband introduced me to the site—& was amused to see that as he was gradually turning his attention elsewhere, I became increasingly involved. Keeping a list of my goals in a place where I can post updates on them, & get so much support in the process, has been very fruitful for me.

I love being here, & so many of you have become my good friends! Yay for all of us!

Not only have you recommended some truly great books to me, but I am the proud owner of a now very dog-eared copy of your book of poems (signed by the author!), thanks to you.

You influence me in other ways, too, Ruth. Ways in which you are probably unaware. I read your entries and comments, and I cannot help being touched by the compassion and charity you extend to others.
