I like to think I am determined, but many contradict that with stubborn. But either way I persevered through Ulysses and finished it!
Now, I will be the first to admit it was a struggle, and I can’t ever say I read every single page. But, hey, the book is ridiculous and the only way to appreciate the depth of it is to solely study it for many years, and still there would be more to learn. For now I am happy to have closed the back page and hand it back to the librarian with a chuffed, ‘don’t I look smart’ smile on my face!!
