AA?
I’m still new to being sober but what I do know is that I can’t do it alone. I need to pray and talk to other sober people. The only things I can suggest are to just hang on, pray, and consider going to a meeting… It does work, if we want it. It’s been working for me, that’s all I really know.
Hang in there, you’re not alone, I’ll keep you in my prayers tonight :)
russdog a'int going out like that
Pinky is right...
You are not alone. And I’m living proof that all alcohol does for folks like us is make our lives a shitty mess.
And if you don’t take quitting seriously then get back out there and try some more “controlled” drinking.
If it doesn’t kill you first, you’ll be back. I only wish I had quit five years ago when I was 36.
ElleLyzette New job...working hard and it is good.
Cunning, Baffling, Powerful
Alcohol is cunnng, baffling and powerful…I know personally as I am now sober myself. Finally came to believe that I could not stop drinking all by myself and took the steps to recovery. Life without drinking is so much better than the alternative.
If you are still out there drinking, I send prayers that you will find your way back to a sober life.
There is a life after drinking…and a fun one, indeed!
