Making the Cut 20 months ago

I’ve started Jillian Michael’s Making the Cut program. I’m on Day 4 of 30 and so far I’ve been able to stick to it. The eating is easy, but the workouts are brutal. I have never been able to complete one of these programs before, but I am determined to do it this time.

Day 11

I’m halfway through Day 11. Today was rough. My stomach is upset and I had to force myself to go to the gym, where I don’t think I gave 100%. I also went way too late in the day, when all the boys are in the weight room and look at you funny because you are lifting free weights and are FEMALE. Gasp. I feel like I’m hitting a wall a little bit, but I’m glad I made myself go. This is the farthest I’ve ever made it in a diet and exercise program like this. The scale hasn’t changed that much, but I do feel different and I think I look a bit slimmer as well. I’m going to stick it out and see what happens.
