find and agree on a fantastic band name, one that my band deserves
The Beatles,The Rolling Stone,The Clash.The Stone Roses,The Byrds.....

This is getting ridiculous!
We been playing now for some time and really have great songs that people need to hear.
I’ve been frantically reading book, magazines, watching old films, resding poetry, anything, just searching for that spark of inspiration! It has to mean something, not just a name for names sake.
Please help! Suggestions welcome!

JL, I think you’re right. Perhaps the sound of the band will insipre the name. I’ll try and get some music on here as soon as possible.

Yeah

Definately.
I never really though about This Charming Man as a band name, and although I agree it would make a wicked name,I think here in the UK it is too associated with The Smiths and maybe people would think we’re a Smiths tribute band.

Rumor is that the Chinese blokes who bought out MG have redefined the name as “Modern Gentleman” – perhaps you have a sponship deal there :)
