purplefibermom feels hung-over even though I didn't drink anything last night

lose 16 pounds.
So I hadn't been following 20 months ago

any set of goals for this – and no surprise had been making no progress. Thanks again to Deni – I heard about SparkPeople from one of her posts. I love the site and I’m working on 3 small daily actions for my 2 week fast start – eating a high fiber/ high protein breakfast, taking a walk, journaling.

I’ve got a good focus now and a very positive attitude. :D

I liked Spark People...

...while I was using it. But eventually I found it too time-consuming and fiddly to enter in everything I eat. If I ate the same things over and over, it would be easier.

I have a feeling I

won’t log my food long on there either – the site is great, but the logging function is a pain if you aren’t eating one of their planned meals. Perhaps if I spend a little time to populate my most eaten foods in my favorites area it will be better.

I had the same feeling

about the exercises. I like to do aerobics dvds, etc not count the number of thises and thats.

It does get easier

as you add your “favorites” so that they’re readily available. I found that tracking made a big difference, though it took a chunk of time.

purplefibermom has gotten 8 cheers on this entry.
