I think I’m confident enough to be able to do this whenever I want to or should. Journaling is definitely a way to focus in on your inner processes. Creative writing allows you the freedom of expression to be true to yourself. Therefore, doing both of these are highly beneficial. The biggest obstacle that can be thrown in front of you is the judgmentalism of others. Peer pressure and negative body language can make you not want to ask a question even when you want to. Don’t be afraid. Your mind is the awesomest thing you own. Everyone else’s wants fall a far second to allowing your mind to grow and question. Think about the things you know, the things you are, and ask why. The best books, the best characters, the best minds are all that way because they don’t shy away from asking the very first important question we all ask;

“Why?”
