I’m well on my way to doing this. Friday was another year ticked off the calendar, and my behavior becomes more disgraceful with every passing year.

Hey! I think you’re just 3 weeks older than me. The disgraceful part is fine, but I hope you don’t plan on the growing old part happening for quite awhile!!!

That was when I started on the pathway to disgraceful conduct.
As Maurice Chevalier famously said when they asked him how it felt to turn 80: “Not so good, but great when you consider the alternatives.”
I think that you can truly only say you are growing old
when you are 70+ and your ears start to grow again.

I am very late...
However, 47 is not old…
Okay remind me of this every time I say I am discovering new wrinkles that are driving me insane.
Still, 47 is a great age. Right? it is a great age.. Fast approaching 47, please tell me it’s great…

48 is even better
When I was 46, I lost 45 lbs.
When I was 47, I took up running.
Now I feel great. Life sometimes throws me curveballs, but I feel like I can adapt a lot more than when I was younger.
Am I getting wiser? I know having a good life partner helps. She helps keep me centered and keeps my feet on the ground.
She’s 15 years older, and so 63 looks pretty great to me, too.

Love…. I don’t think age has much to do with your life partner {that is to mean, that your life partner can be of any age or any race etc and that person is still the one}. I am so very glad to hear what you’ve just said about your great love.
See, I’ve been introduced to the fast approaching 60’s and I don’t see that as old either. I think it is the person, and how that person is feeling about life in general.
you can be 28 and feel like life is over and there is nothing worth living for. Not that you want to die, but instead “to live” terrifies…
am I making any sense at all.
Being cold and empty inside is just as devastating, no, it is more devastating than being of an age of numbers that everyone says is old…
