walk an hour a day (read all 2 entries…)
I walk for about hour a day 4-6 time a week.

I have been walking for the last 5-years to lose about 285lbs I’m at around 318 now I still have about 80-lbs to go. I just started (8-weeks ago) to do the Hills around my home In seattle Like the Queen ann Hill up pass safeway than back to my home it takes about 45mins to do. I do this 2-4times a week and sometimes 2-times a day I just started this. Most times I just go to harborview by 1st ave and denny. I go up denny to broadway and john than to 9th and jefferson than I wait for about a hour than I go back to 1st and denny where I live. It takes about 57mins one way. Now I tell you this so that you too can do this. It just take time and you must find real good shoes and socks and make time to do this daily. You must start out very slow that’s right SLOW and work your way up to A hour. I has taken me 5years to get up to more than hour of hard walking. I just didn’t go I can do this and start out walking for 40mins I started at 10-mins than 20-mins up to 40 mins every other day for 3-years before I could do 85-mins to 2-hours a day one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
