I realized that the main reason that I wanted to do this was to make other people happy. Whilst I understand that the courses I wanted to undertake would no doubt provide me with both invaluable resources and skills, I feel that I’d be betraying myself by doing this for the wrong reasons.
Not to mention that I doubt that I’d ever be economically driven enough to pay back the thousands of pounds this would cost.
It would be a great learning experience, but ultimately, I feel, one that would both limit my expressive perimeters and stunt my artistic development. I don’t want to be taught how to do some things, I like learning and inventing – I honestly don’t care about money.
